Dr. Deepak Raheja is a highly regarded Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist with more than a decade of experience in the field of mental health. He employs an integrative healing approach, utilizing his vast expertise in Hypnotherapy, Spiritual Counseling, and alternative healing practices, in conjunction with medical methods.
Concerned by the lack of quality mental health services and outdated treatment practices for those suffering from mental illness, Dr. Raheja established The Hope Foundation in 2004. The center provides top-notch residential and outpatient services for a wide range of psycho-emotional disorders. He developed a treatment model based on best practices from around the world and adapted it to the Indian context, resulting in a highly effective program.
As a philanthropist, Dr. Raheja is dedicated to improving the lives of the homeless mentally ill and street children. He envisions community outreach programs for preventive mental health care and plans to establish a facility for the rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of homeless mentally ill individuals.
Dr. Raheja is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist for numerous diplomatic missions, as well as a Senior Advisor to several media houses, including CNN, IBN, NDTV, Doordarshan, Hindustan Times, and Times Of India. He currently heads the Psychiatry Departments at Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon, Sama Nursing Home, and Aashlok Hospital in Delhi.
